Company Story
BETTER-LIVING was founded in Ningbo, Zhejiang — one of China's core outdoor furniture manufacturing regions and a port city built for export. What began as a small cushion workshop has grown into a specialized manufacturer of outdoor parasols and cushions, serving importers, retailers and hospitality projects across Europe and the Americas.
Today our facility houses metalworking, cutting, sewing and assembly lines under one roof, supported by an in-house design and engineering team. Staying focused on two product lines is a deliberate choice: it is how we keep engineering deep, lead times predictable and quality consistent, order after order.

Quality & Sustainability
Quality is not a final checkpoint — it is built into incoming materials, production lines and pre-shipment audits.
Incoming materials are tested for fabric weight, color fastness and coating adhesion. In-line inspectors check frame welding, sewing and assembly during production. Before every container is sealed, finished goods pass an AQL 2.5 pre-shipment audit with documented results shared on request.
We prioritize recyclable aluminum frames, wood-grain aluminum finish and solution-dyed fabrics, which consume less water and dye than piece-dyed alternatives. Packaging is engineered to reduce volume and waste, lowering both cost and footprint per shipped unit.
Products are developed to meet international expectations: fabric UV protection tested to EN 13758 / AS/NZS 4399, textiles compliant with OEKO-TEX requirements, and an ISO 9001-style quality management system running across all production departments.
